Guided Tour Of Lahore

tourism bus(09:00 hrs to 13:00 hrs)

Tour start from Lahore, the present cultural centre of Pakistan and the former capital of the Moghul Empire.  We visit the enormous Lahore Fort, begun in 1584 by Emperor Akbar, with additional palaces and buildings added by Jehangir, Shah Jehan, and Aurangzeb. The result is a handsome interplay of sandstone and marble, especially the Shish Mahal (Palace of a Million Mirrors), considered the most outstanding structure. We see the Badshahi Masjid (Royal Mosque), the world’s largest, built by Aurangzeb in the early 1670s.

Our next stop is the Wazir Khan Mosque near the Delhi Gate Bazaar.  Constructed in 1634, the Wazir Khan Mosque with its exterior of fresco and glazed tile-work is Pakistan’s only Persian-style shrine. Also visit the Royal Hammam (Turkish Baths) inside Delhi Gate.
